Now , if you had a play on the Scrolling Banner Tutorial

you will be ready for these extra's :O)

STYLE 1

adding a border around the scrolling text

open Paint Shop Pro

open a new image 200 x 50

(assuming you used the same set as me, if not, the same size as your banner!)

Now Flood Fill your new image- with the background colour of your scrolling text, mine will be black

then choosing either the same colour or maybe a different kind to you text colour

then click on IMAGE (top bar) then BORDERS

using the settings 10 symmetric

now using your magic wand click the border, flood with desired colour, and add an inner bevel setting :O)

DESELECT

Now copy and paste into Animation Shop

you need now to know how many frames your scrolling text is, i.e. 20 frames?

then Duplicate the Bordered Image to the same amount

now click on the scrolling text - CTRL A and CTRL C (select all and copy)

then click on the Border Image and CTRL A and CTRL E (select all and paste into selected frames)

now set the speed you want...

CTRL A - ALT ENTER ...speed number

SAVE AS............. Wahoo your all done...


STYLE 2

You can instead of settling on just a border, you could add an image too :O)

to add an image - first select your image...

open a new image in Animation Shop big enough to hold your image / bordered scrolling banner

duplicate the new image to the same amount of frames as your bordered scrolling banner

then duplicate the image/pic the same amount too

please them all together on the new image , by...

 - CTRL A and CTRL C (select all and copy) on the Bordered Scrolling Banner

then click on the  Image and CTRL A and CTRL E (select all and paste into selected frames), and paste it on the new image next to your scrolling banner - or on top etc....

now set the speed you want...

CTRL A - ALT ENTER ...speed number

Well done.........I'm sure it looks great.........don't forget to SAVE AS....


STYLES 3 PLUS

Can you remember the points to the Marquee section on the Scrolling Banner?

well how about using one of the other effects too.......

There is 7 other effects in there...I'm sure you can create a wicked effect :O)
