Protect Your Work

A few detailed tips and tricks...which will hopefully stop YOUR work being stolen and passed off as someone else's

Firstly its advisable to create yourself a watermark, this mainly shows others who created that Animation

Watermarks aren't Copyrights

Most people using PSP and the Groups will get to know other peoples work / watermarks , and coz of this , anyone stealing someone else's work will stand out a mile...

IF you suspect your work has been taken , then with your watermark there it will help to prove it...

Another way to show that your work is YOURS is in Animation Shop , before you save your graphic, go to Animation (on the top bar) and click both Animation Properties and Frame Properties and type into this who created that signature or image and if you want to , even the date.

If its stolen, you will be able to see if your Notes are in the properties side...

OUR sites had alot of stuff stolen...in the past....

Trust me...there is always someone out there who will inform you , which is a good thing....  :O) not so long ago...someone decided my site was good....so good they wanted to take my tutorials...and pass them off as their own....aswell as requesting signatures between 5 and 10 per day.....off myself and the other Managers....then set up her own Sig request site...since then...I watermark my things....easy to spot then....

Another way is :O)

Right Click open your image, say in *My Documents*

And go to Properties, click Summery, and then Advanced

and fill in your details there, press APPLY and then OK
